It Uses led to discover visually the three phase Direct or inverse sequence. Close the breaker to excite the relay coils and invert the sequence. 
May be used to explain also how a rotating magnetic Field works. A student should imagine the LEDs put on a closed cylinder Surface instead of a plane as in this example.
