Switch simulates the fuse. Also works with polyfuses.

Actually, i dont think its working for polyfuses, cuz they are limited in resistance when they trap.

Hurz yes, you are correct. However usually it’s such a high resistance that atleast there is not enough current to light the LED. Granted there’s gonna be some current going into your circuit but I think that current will be quite negligable...

If I’m wrong though, atleast it works with regular fuses :)

Guess you are wrong, check some datasheets for polyfuses
