Underdamped RLC circuit.

After the switch open at t=0, the response will be underdamped, second order midel. Before t=0, the circuit is a RL first order model

Would need 8kOhm for at least critical dampening. Or more to overdamp. BTW use the stored energy in cap and not waste it by a short. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5135792704061440
