when the capacitors are in parallel the capacitance increase and the voltage remain the same of each one as the total voltage of a power supply
to find the total capacitance in a parallel circuit you just have to sum each capacitors
Ct= 3µF+6µF+9µF= CT= 18µF
to find total charge stole Qt?
Qt=(Ct)(Vt)
Qt=(18µF)(9v) = Qt= 162 coulombs of total charge
to find the voltage?
the voltage of each capacitors is equal to the foltage of the power supply
C1,C2 and C3= total of power 9 volts all capacitors have nine volts passing thru them.
