Can anyone tell me why this doesn't work? Why does this say it's shorted out?

Power sources are not defined as load sharing?.

Everything here should be considered as perfectly ideal lumped models so voltage source as element has only one parameter. Rest electrical parameters are zeroed. This apply to all devices here. For example inductors will throw a short errors when hooked in loop without any resistance added. The same is for voltage sources. They hav zero resistance so at start when program perform one time dc analyse whenever infinity occurs it throw error but it can be cheated sometimes like a transformer with load at secondary do not throw error most of the time even if u do not hook resistor in series with primary coil. But when load is removed errors start to appears. Models implemented here have cut off many phenomenas associated by real models that's a major drawback and frequent reason of frustration cuz we think why and cant get answer.

Ok I just needed to simulate reality better and add a small resistor to each load because real wire has some resistance?

Not at all times but if u want reality to be better performed u should add resistances frequently cuz by default onl resistors and semicoductors have such included by default. (Gates and opamps have infinite input resistances also)

That's something that bugs me as well I've attempted to make several circute that have switch that connects two batteries in parallel and every time it short circutes. In the real world i have no issue with this set up.. just on sim
