Or to put it in simple terms, the circuit has to be able to provide the correct current and voltage to work successfully. Neither the light bulb or motor combination presented work together, Here is an example that works; http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6245821283827712

Check what is the resistance of such a motor! But dont expect BUGs if you just dont understand

So after our BitchiBoy has nothing to offer then hate, lets concentrate on the technical ussue again. You can see from motor specification you have choosen it can be replaced with a 6kOhm resistor 6V/1mA.
