For this differential amplifier, you would need a dual rail power supply or appropriate base biasing. If you know how to do mesh loop analysis on this, do it out! You would get the formulas for the various currents. Things change when a constant current source is added to replace the emitter resistor. Good job!

Yup, I am 13 and self-taught. I download free ebooks or purchase printed books from Amazon which are really helpful.
