But I don't agree with the cry for help idea. I think it more likely that a kind of frustration arises from the mismatch of his delusional world and the world around as we may experience it. That frustration is manifested by his personal traits which are obvious to many others. I believe that he's not a happy person, but can't quite put the finger on why that's the case. He can't because his self delusions don't allow him to recognize what's amiss.

Our dear Lenny, whether you want to accept it or not IS relevant, because many of us sincerely feel as though you could benefit from some serious, yes, professional help. That comes from many points of view, ages, different experiences, cultures, lifestyles, technical expertise and possibly male or female individuals. We can all exist here in EC, which is one of the few non-social media apps, especially technical apps, that permits comments. But some things can change for it to happen. Reposting circuits with intentional errors just because it can be done. Name calling and profanity. Taking offense due to someone saying our circuit sucks. Continuing meaningless arguments. Thinking cutting a deal to force another users behavior. And for me personally, maybe I shouldn't give a damn whether you, hurz, kiani, roops, crake, lebutch, bushmills or any other user on here is happy or not! BUT I DO!

In 2014 I posted two circuits and inadvertently put the house power source at 60khz! The first comment made told me I was a ____ idiot, a dumb ___, an ___wipe born baby and insulted unknowingly my Kentucky heritage. The next 8-9 comments from 4-5 users never changed the tone. Some of them are still very active today. I responded quite different than you, thank goodness. I asked them to redraw my circuits correctly. Since then some of them continue to critique the crap out of my crappy circuits, without profanity and by knowing I give a damn to learn from their crappy their teaching methods. You see, my profile doesn't mention my B.A. in Educational Arts. So what value is there in not accepting others critique and exhausting my energies for how many years? Lenzrulz, how long have you carried this battle?

Lenny, please get help. Stop running fromthe issues you face. You avoid any real in-depth discussion of electronics, life or behavior. You project all fault and blame to others. We have never seen you apologize or admit error. You misunderstood me. I was by no means taking a swing at you, I was merely emphasising my desire that you understand me when I say that I'm on nobody's side. Though I can see how that maybe came off a bit aggressive, that wasn't the intention. Also, I have no presupposed ideas as to who is wrong or right around here. Hurz was the first user to come out swinging, lenzrulz was the second. So don't think that I haven't experienced his/her/their hostility first hand. I have. The distinction between the two is the way in which they exercised their hostility. On the one hand, there's Hurz. Hurz is "that guy", I believe the acronym is SPITR (Smartest Person In The Room). But it's not a compliment. On the other, Lenzrulz. Although Lenzrulz displayed some very unnecessary aggression at first, it was really only that. I can tolerate bigotry, but I won't tolerate someone like Hurz, attempting to pass their own made up preconceptions as facts about a person. This deserved retaliation, and retaliation was delivered. Unfortunately this also meant catching the attention of his little lap dog (kiani). Again, I've put all of that to bed. It was cheap entertainment for my night shift rotation, but it's gotten old. I understand the frustration with users who post garbage just for the sake of it (like toy story guy, who I'm almost certain is kiani, but let's not get into that). There's better ways to solve this than jumping at each other's throats, or harassing developers to implement some kind of a solution. If things were to calm down, I'm sure that suggestions to developers might actually carry some weight with them, maybe falling on an open ear. Nobody's going to take accusations of cyberbullying and religious indoctrination very seriously. One might as well equate exposure to this type of behaviour as the equivalent of facing a gigantic sign that reads: "Welcome to the internet". If we can all accept (or not, either way really) that there are people alive today who believe that the earth is flat, and Obama is a reptile from outer space, then I would stick young earth creationists somewhere near the milder end, or middle ground at most, for extreme ideologies. The main problem though is that nobody even seems to be making circuits for the sake of making circuits. There's posts by several users with no circuit at all, just targeted hostility toward someone else (see kiani's latest posts for an example of this, justified or not). Basically, the old adage "if you can't beat them, join them" seems to be the prevailing logic around here. Ever heard the counter: "2 wrongs don't make a right"? That's what I'm getting at. Bushmills has made his point abundantly clear, and I get what he's doing. But I don't necessarily agree with it. To me it just brings doubt to the seriousness of certain user's claims of a desire for change. I don't really believe, personally, and based solely on my limited time around here (ignorance), that any of you really, truly want this to end. If it has been going on, like Hurz has said, for 5 bloody years now, then where do you honestly see the end? There won't be one if everyone can't just stop. But it has to be everyone. No finger pointing, no segregating into this side, or that. Just a full fucking stop, on everyone's part. That was 4 years ago and the vast majority of the perpetrators who were responsible for posting defamatory remarks on my circuits have left EC and as such, EC has become a user friendly platform for electronic enthusiasts of all levels of experience.
