Two connection circuit. Output 3.5 mm jack from radio or cellphone connects to the tone arm wires (shown as two SPST switches at pickup arm) to audio input of rest of record player (shown as lamp for amplifier and resistor for speaker.)
You might consider another switch to turn off power to turn table.
