An astable 555 circuit that fires a relay to switch two LEDs, the RC network creates the triggering for pin 2 which is 1/3 of the rail voltage. pin 2 has control over pin 6 so i tied them together. pin 7 is the discharge and goes low when pin 2 is triggered. what is also cool is that pin 4 reset overides the all operations. If pin 4 is High then the circuit works as should but if you need to stop it put pin 4 to ground and it will stop. I have included a switch to see that happen. The control has a capacitor to ground. I also put a switch and a potentiometer to see the change and control the toggling of the LEDs. For the relay coil I like using 500 ohms, I liked the response.
