Nice, I like the comparater part, but why CCS at the top and the bottom of the oscillator what is the advantage?

Thanks guys. @selman those are two mirrored variable current sources. By changing the voltage on the vco frequency control input you can change the current flowing through the ring oscillator and so its frequency.

Nice work try to make one using LC-VCO, @selman this configuration is called "Current starved inverter" btw
