Almost, led current should be about 20mA. Bias current should be led current/transistor's gain, then adjust capacitor for a visibly see able frequency, IE. somewhere between 1 & 15 Hz http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5329506735489024

Hi @BilyT. I agree with you for the frequency. I chose this frequency because I was having troubles simulating for the correct frequency here. About the LED current, AFAIK the 20mA is the current limit of a LED. I usually project them to operate with ~10mA and they work fine. Thanks!
