Two transformers in serial

My classmates didn't believe me that two 230V transformers can be connected in serial to produce a double voltage. I made this to prove I was not wrong.

The primary is in parallel the secondary in series. You can do it, as long as the secondary winding tap you've created is not in antiphase with each other. I've done this by accident and the voltage gets annulled.
