Bcd to 7-segment led display

There are four i/ps toggle by switches(top left corner). By proper i/p bits(0000 to 1001) you get the o/p as digits on display. Otherwise "E"(or error) is displayed for i/p bits 1010 to 1111.

Ok 0-9, but A to F???

If i take A to F, then B looks like 8, D looks like 0. So, that's why i don't take it. Tnx for suggestion.
