It will go up to the maximum voltage peak +-12V and burn the LED. Here in simulation it does not, cuz you have setup a balanced mode, which is in reality impossible. Increase the gain a little (by increase Rf 40kOhm + 1k) so the gain is a little above 3 and not exactly 3.
