A simple example of how to use Ohms Law in calculating a resistor to make a voltage drop and limiting the current in an LED in series with the resistor. U = I x R => R = U / I.
NB: This circuit was inspired by or taken from the Basic Electronics series by Simply Electronics at YouTube.
NB2: I have now added a contact so that the circuit can be switched on and off.
