Wondering how you wire a “super capacitor”

There's a little bitty 3kF capacitor on Mouser for like $73. But how would I wire it up? like this? If this is sorta right, how could you keep the current from flickering like that once you're on cap-power or returning from it? Maybe that's a mathematical error in the model? The variations are so small, they could be roundoff.

It's not really flickering like that. The curve is a common EC artifact.

EC is electric circuit? meaning modeling software?

Yes it is but, there are some pretty heavy duty mathematics involved to run a simulation. Math that is over the heads of most enthusiasts, myself included. Using EC, you learn about this stuff along the way.

Though I wonder about this capacitor- what size is it? Did you say kilo-Farad??..

Seems like a beast!

http://goo.gl/YgUAb3 ← not sure you can post urls in here, but that's the mouser search that blows your mind with the big kF s.
