Just a simple common base RF amplifier. Usually common base amplifiers have better bandwidth capabilities than common emitter voltage amps, because both common base and common collector amps, don't suffer from the Miller Effect, and are preffered for VHF applications. The interesting thing about it is that with no input signal, the amp is basically unbiased, and doesn't draw any significant idle current. This makes the amp a class C common base amp. Some of the specs are: - Input power - ~0.3W - Output Power - 3.7W - Drawn power - 6.7W - Efficiency - 56%
