4 phases, 280 hrz/60 hrz = 4. That also matches the angles of the sources, as they go in 90° increments. Six phase is 60° increments.

To determine phase angles always remember a motor has 360° of angles, so use 360/6=60. That's 6 poles at 60° phase angles.
