Swing battery voltage at first to start oscillations going.  
Several on-line schematics had capacitor values reversed with the 2 mf beside the battery and 500 uf at top.  Wattage consideration has to be considered on these components.  Other changes as well to run in simulator.
This is battery powered to hold cattle, pigs, and with low wire ( Number 18 copper clad steel wire held low by TV stand off insulators) .  
One picture showed  non survivor rattlesnake stopped by electric fence.
