Resistors in Series

This circuit shows 2 resistors in series, connected to a 10 V DC source.

An Ammeter and 2 Volt Meters show the current of the circuit and the voltage across the 2 resistors.  

What do you know about resistors in series?

While the voltages may be different across the 2 resistors, notice how the current is the same as the source across both of the resistors!
