Hoping they add this component. The pot and battery are not part of the IC, they are there just to make it work. The wiper on the pot is the reference pin, the collector of the NPN the cathode and the emitter is the anode. From the web.

I like the TLVH431, it has a 1.24V reference. Anyway it would be nice to have these type of references in EC.

Considering the small size of the work area they would save a lot of space for so many circuits. Good idea though, to add other versions. Perhaps an adjustable reference voltage.
