Thank you for your variation. Can you tell me the advantage of using an Op Amp for this?

@schmobi, smaller cap value, and probably more precision, also you can use a ultra high impedance FET opamp to make the capacitance even smaller and the discharge resistor higher. Maybe also use a pot to set the time, and a precision LM regulator instead of a Zener diode.
