Kindly explain capacitor principle.

Why am I getting a current through my capacitor? I understand that the capacitor should charge almost instantly, pushing electrons in one side and "charging" the other (hence voltage). Did I get this wrong?

The difference in voltage if You changed the inducters inductance it would change form same with the risistor
