A countdown to 2015 using 7 segment displays.
HOW IT WORKS: The voltage source produces a wave whose peak is 5v. The peak is detected by the counter which increases the output by one. The outputs A,B,C,D represent 1,2,4,8 respectively. These outputs are processed by the decoder which gives the signals to the 7segment display.
RESET AFTER 5: The AND gate's two inputs are on outputs B and C, which sum up to make 6. When both of these are high, the and gate's output becomes high, which goes to the counters reset.
