Illegal Radio Jammer

Spark transmitters have been outlawed since 1930's. Soviet shortwave jammers worked similar to this and blanketed end to end over shortwave and other frequencies. No tubes or solid-state in this circuit. You could key message to radio listeners all around ( for a short time). Capacitor charges near transformer's maximum output voltage then air gap breaks down and spark causes sudden discharge and these frequency oscillations go out transmitting antenna at upper right.

You've stumbled upon something weird. At least in EC it's weird. Start opening and closing the ,,antenna'' switch at the upper right corner. You'll see the sinewave is distorting, when it shouldn't. That's pretty weird.

Move node below switch on antenna and seems better to me.

No the weird thing is that the switch is not grounded therefore it mustn't conduct current in any way, so what's causing the wave to distort? In reality the changing antenna impedance will result in an output distortion, but here in EC there isn't an antenna component.
