Close the switches and vary the voltage source at the left. You will observe a change in frequency of the output waveform in the oscilloscope as u change the voltage .

For sine vco u need tri-to-sine converter. I had one posted.

But the triangle would be generated out of a rectangle and would break down in voltage if frequency goes up. This wouldnt be a solution

I think bout direct sinus generator whose nkt distort wave. I made recently 2 V controlled sine osc circuits but output wave looks like someone hand drawing lol so i'm not proud from those :[
