Układ tak naprawde jest połączeniem dwóch wzmacniaczy na jednym tranzystorze, tylko w dolnym tranzystor został wymieniony na inny aby tworzył z górnym pare i pracował przy ujemnej połówce sygnału. Analogicznie górny pracuje przy dodatniej.
Układ taki zapewnia naturalne reprobukowanie sygnału audio przez to że mębrana w głośniku nie jest tylko "wypychana", ale tagże "wciągana" (para tranzystorów). Taki układ tegże niepowoduje prądu spoczynkowego, tak jak w układzie z jednym tranzystorem, który może spalić głośniki o małej mocy.
