Welder 3 phase running on single

I finally got it! I believe this is a fairly accurate representation of the circuit described in practical machinist. I forget the fellows' name who came up with it. The capacitor values have to be tweaked for full load output and of course remove jumper on the cap and remove the two series resistors in wdg 1 and 3. those changes were made because a 3 phase transformer is different than 3 singles.

Yeah its supposed to be a 3 phase transformer which as we can see is vastly different than 3 separate transformers. It doesnt appear to work with the simulator but there are people welding with them, claim it works just fine. Its not been confirmed to work with scr type welders though.

Yep the phase shift for the middle wdg works out better that way. In real life the way the guy hooks them up is 120uf cap on each lead of center wdg.
