You need a ground, on bottom of circuit for example

The simulator (sadly) requires a ground connected to the circuit. Add a ground (like @castillo92 said) to the bottom wire of the circuit, and simulation of the circuit should be fine from there.

Also, you might want to add a voltage source to it. Try looking at the examples for help.

It has a 4.5v source

He does have a source. Look on top right of the circuit. He's just missing the ground.
