A sort of home-made design, similar to my other fuzz circuit, except serialized three times. Very gritty sound and, as it is with most diode-clipping distorters, the sound is dependant on the type of diodes used
Germanium diodes produce a more mellow clipping, as opposed to LEDs which produce the nastier sounds. Regular silicone diodes are în the middle.
This is due to the cutoff voltage parameter, which is higher in leds.
Ps: i need to make the layout look better... Bottom pot is volume top one is gain. The cap from the first transistor is a form of "mid boost"
