Anyway, what is the rightmost cap to ground for? Guess its an accident

@hurz, a lot of the published circuits have that capacitor in them, they also nominate a transistor and do not explain how to tune the circuit with transistors having different gains or to adjust for Leds with different current requirements. @BillyT, a lot? This cap is cap no 4 and useless. Its a voltage divider for ac and does change the timing to make it unsymetric which is for a demo circuit not normal. Its not for a quick start. Its just a mistake which is copied again and again

The circuits that have them in normally refer to websites as sources.

The circuits that have been posted on EC with the extra capacitor, sometimes refer to a website. Sometimes they claim the credit for themselves.
