looks interesting, but yeah there's no oscillation, these really like to charge caps then pulsed to load. start by making the basic circuit, right away you will see trumpet rising waves, and no battery current drawn, see Kurt's bedini :)

Your transformer is connected wrong ,up right and down left must are connected postive side
