press button to start.   self clocked switch timing is feedback from the LC tank voltage.  this signal is processed by the comparators.  the voltage divider determines the on time; dead time between switchover can be adjusted by varying the centre resistor.  larger values increases the dead time but also makes it less stable

Where are all the flashy strobes and flares, how are you supposed to attract viewers? Just kidding, this is nice as far as I can tell, but remember bugs burn their wings by flying into the candle flame. I guess the scope is pretty amusing to watch, I like the way it starts, boing, boing, boing.
