Low source voltages allow this to be used as a voltage controlled swich. At voltages up to 10V the circuit works fine, however an increase in voltage causes the transistors to latch up in a parasitic behaviour and the circuit can't be turned off.

Yeah, I just made this to quick test the latch up condition I read in a book example circuit which had no values. Thanks for the input, I've changed it :)
