A basic PWM boost converter. Compares feedback voltage on output against ramped reference. A few features to play with and examine their impact:
• Set voltage using feedback potentiometer (on output)
• Decrease load resistance on output and see the transition between Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) and Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) as current increases, as well as observing load regulation (drop in Vout as Iout increases)
• See how peak current limit setting (bottom left potentiometer) impacts max load current
• See how inductance and output capacitance affect ripple current and ripple voltage (note: may go unstable in some conditions)
