For a final stage its a pretty common topology which offers mediocre results because it has the inherent class B trade to cause crossocer distortion which is mostly distinguishable at low output power. It does offer some advantages over other classes like efficiency which results in less heat dissipation which means less space for sinks etc. But if you dont care about the power wastage and would like a pretty satisfying sound quality you might wanna use a class A topology because of its quality superiority over class B topologies. The best compromise would be a class AB design which has qualities from both claas A and class B amps.
