First time this has been done in EC, to the best of my knowledge. Here's a big 16:1 MUX.
For such a large circuit, the speed is pretty decent. It only stalls a little when changing when selecting different input bits. This circuit can serialize 2 bytes of parallel data to 1 serial transmission wire.
To help in selecting channels, I replaced the 4 necessary address logic sources with an up/down counter. Now, just press the up or down push buttons to scroll through the input bits. I also added a 7-segment display to help you keep track of which bit channel is selected.
Be sure to check out my previous multiplexer/demultiplexer circuits. If you're confused about how I'm using the Binary to 7-segment Decoders, make sure to check into this circuit, which explains the hack. https://everycircuit.com/circuit/4846082110259200
