Circuit Demonstrates in order for your output resistor to have maximum power it has to be the same value as your parallel 8 ohm resistor. When the 8 ohm resistor is selected there are 16 Volts and 2 Amps which is 32 Watts. When the 16 ohm resistor is selected there are 21.3 Volts and 1.33 Amps which is 28.32 Watts. When the 4 Ohm is selected there are 10.7 Volts and 2.67 Amps which is 28.57 Watts.
