Also you can operate a relay at the place of load resistance

and from where do you get 110V while in your circuit its 120V DC ?? You have a bunch of batteries? From mains 120VAC it will be a bit complicated to make 120 or 110 V DC but 170V would be easy

Perhaps he’s using an AC to DC converter, I commend him for his effort...👍

Lenny demonstrate not verbalise! This AC to DC is exactly the root problem you dont realise as noob

here we go, demonstrate your 110VAC to 110VDC converter http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5980884671660032 i made it easy for you, you see the problem

I don’t see a problem concerning AC to DC conversion, but I see the problem you’ve conveniently created...🤔

then create a suitable AC to DC converter just as comfortably as i did

"conveniently" is based on given facts and not taken out of fantasy

Okk hurz, as i understand you want me to make one ac to dc converter, am i right.??

actually Lenny want. But if you like to continue, im with you, Lenny is as always out after a lot of verbalisation.

"predominately a range of factors has to taken into account". Lenny, verbalisation is yours

so guys after ><((((*> bla bla, where is a circuit?

Okk, i should make some point clear, as i am in railways traction development, we get 110v from battery compartment, so i used this circuit to show a status that we are getting battery voltage and i also use this to operate one relay whose coil resistance was 720 ohm, and one thing i mentioned wrong, which is 110v, but instead i used 120v,ignore this. So, i make this circuit not for home, but for railways cinverters,. And making ac to dc is not difficult you can simply use suitable step down transformer for 230 to low value and then feed its o/p to full wave rectifier.its enough.

Checkout this simple linear circuit for 230v ac to 110v dc near about, but by tunning you can achieve better results. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5300711840284672

Makes sense if you have it available as DC from battery. It wasn't a question of its possible ot not, sure its possible but its not just there, you have to do a little for it. If you place a source and have a battery behind i guess its ok, but if you need a transformer to power a LED its quite an effort compared to this single LED. BTW, if you use your exact circuit at 230VAC mains you will get 156VDC and not 110VDC cuz your 230V AC are wrong, this is one reason why you cant make directly from mains without a transformer and just a diode as 230V DC! Hope you understand. The peak voltage must be set to 325V !
