You misunderstand the word "internal resistance" Its a resistance you can not tune from outside as you want. Its given by technology and size of battery and does change over time. You can add to this resistance addition ones, but the existing internal resistance is still present! 18650 does not say anything about the chemistry its just a dimension of the battery length and diameter.

and sure the chemestry does desiced which cell voltage you get, this is also not tuneable for you. Lithium Ion are about 3.65V max 4.25V and low 2.9V

If I don't add resistors to the circuit here I can't simulate it. This has nothing to do with the internal resistance. Adding resistance allows me to control the current.

yes, but the internal resistors are a fact and exsit, and they help you to simulate your circuit. So if you put consequent at every battery its internal resistance and see this as a single battery you can do everything in simulation and test whats happend in reality!!!
