Zdiode in secondary affects primary

Without the zener diode switched into the secondary, the primary appears to flow in alternating directions. When the diode is switched into the secondary, the primary flow eventually appears to be in a counterclockwise direction only. Why would a zener diode in the secondary influence the primary in such a manner? Is this an anomaly in Everycircuit?

Yes, i believe it's an anomaly. However, i believe it is more an issue with the transformer. I myself can never get them to behave, and have even seen them pass DC...

Thanks for your input. I have sent an email to Everycircuit for comment.

Sorry ec didn't explode the transformer because you don't know how to use it. That's the only thing not being simulated here.

Put some traces on the screen, you will see a couple of things, 1 the sim is running too slowly. And 2 the voltages are as expected. The only fault observed is a 10v zener on a 120vac circuit with no dropping resistor. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5466662874906624

No anomaly at all. Just you who don't know how to use zener diodes

EC replied to my question explaining that EC Chrome only was having zener diode problems.
