Trying to design a small diy grow ligth for a small automated greenhouse project
If any one knows about what color ratio i should use or any other recomendations please do tell im always happy to listen and really appriciate the help best regards //Lugge

Question - plants are (mostly) green because they reflect green light as it's not needed for photosynthesis, so is green light needed?

What i have read is that green ligth doesnt work well with green plants. Also seem most prebuilt ones with a 1 red to 3 blue ratio how ever i dont know their spectrum but the thing is i wanted to see if it is possible to build this with generic leds, ive bougth a couple of 500 pacls of cheap leds from banggood for different prokect and thought it would be fun to try //Lugge
