Cable Tracer - Sender

Hey all. I've been thinking on how to improve on most commercial versions of cable tracers and this is what I came up with. A simple boost converter built around the 555 timer, to boost the available output voltage to a higher level. This way, the tracer will work on longer runs of cables without losing power.

The matching receiver circuit is called - "Cable Tracer - Receiver"

Interesting. Are you going to add circuitry to generate the 1ms pulses?

Hey Robert. Can't fit one here, but a simple multivibrator should do the trick
