Don't get excited. It's using the implied power supplied to the inverter.

That is a logic gate. It has own inner voltage source. Check voltage settings for logical "0" and "1"

The ground pin of the logic gate is also connected to the circuit common ground, so the closed path is completed and current is flowing from the logic gate ic power supply to the ground.
