230 VAC rms lamp with TRIAC dimmer.
The lamp is connected behind the TRIAC and a choke is placed with some capacitors and resistors. The lamp is dimmable along the whole wiper position of the potentiometer and the sine is cut according wiper position.

In my opinion it not good model of thyristor dimmer. Transistors which are modeling thyristors should switch on with phase shift delay to control power. Here transistors works like in A amplifier, as regulated resistor. They are switched on all the time but limiting current. Dimmer doesn't works like this. Here efficiency is very low.
