Opamp used as comparator test case

Opamp when used in positive feedback, will not necessarily behave as comparator. In fact, it will be normal works as non inverting amplifier if voltage sufficiently low compare to incoming supply voltage. 

I initially thought Everycircuit is wrong on the modeling, but end up after I derive from fundamental, I found that Everycircuit simulation result is actually valid.

User can press the normally close push button and will discover the opamp will become comparator when being press at the right moment. Once opamp become comparator, then it will remain as comparator till power off.
