For every 1 amp into the base, 100 amps are to flow. Yours puts in 924 microamps and 2.76 miliamps flow. Why?

Just want to learn, i understand why and how, i dont know if the transistors will take a beating or anything or if its improper layout. I like the design, i will be modifying it so i dont have to buy the copy rights.

My first thought was the lamp. So first I observed the circuit as is working each switch and taking note of the readings. Then adjusted the lamp, keeping it at 10V but upping the power to 1W. Bingo- there's your 100A/A. The lesson? In simulation ideal components and default values will be fine in showing you the basic function of your circuit, but if you plan to build the real thing adjusting the component values to more accurately represent their intended counterparts will yield much more "realistic" results. X^)

I am a novice when it comes to electronics my experience mainly comes from copying circuits. This circuit came to me while looking at 4 transistor H bridge circuits for a motor on a project. I just thought the other 2 transistors where pointless when the plc can do their job.

I put 400k resistors and it matched up, seems like your just pushing to much through the base

Probably right I tried this tonight on the prototype board and thought it worked the resisters started to smoke but I ran out of time in my workshop to experiment with different values.

The load needs to be heavier, like a motor, this little bulb hardly lets anything through.

What kind of power can the transistors and relay handle? This puts out 9.21ma when the load is correctly matched.

I used 2 tip142 and was running a motor drawing approx .5 amp but the transistors are capable of 5amp I believe.
