Impessive indeed! However, the actual real (rms) power is around 440 watts. You used peak values of voltage and current instead of rms values. A shortcut formula is: Vpp squared ÷ (8xspkr ohms). Ex: 84Vp +84Vp = 168Vpp. Therefore, 168x168÷(8x8)=~440 Watts. Still a GOOD power amp

BTW 800 watts is only one click louder on the volume control. Since audio volume is logarithmic, it would take 4400 watts to be twice as loud as 440 watts. :)
