The 3 voltage sources represent 3 AA batteries to feed the lm358 opamp, with gnd biased at 1.5v so the opamp is not working too close to the negative rail. 
1uA=10mV.
Poor range, poor and drifting precision. The switch in the middle is to measure the offset of the chinesium opamp and subtract from the output.
